conducted the regular morn-
ing service at Hensall United
Church on Sunday, August
31st with the theme for the
morning being "Work".
Paul gives clear directions to
the Christians about work --
work diligently, give an
honest, _day's work to your
employer, accept all work as
a challenge. Secondly, work
is given to us to glorify God,
faithful work is prayer and
praise. Thirdly a ,workman
shOuld not be ashamed of his
efforts; it is a sin to bury your
talents. Work at Recreation
as well as work, and fourthly,
handle 'yourself uprightly,
relating positively to God and
Jesus Christ.
For the children's time
another chorus was learned
by the congregation --"It is
Summertime in My Heart".
Junior congregation was held
for those eight y'ears old and
younger and will be contin-

represeniatiyes of council
could at -tend a Stanley Town-
ship council meeting at
Varna to appeal the Vanastra
dr_a_tp report. It is a Stanley
draia affecting several land-
owners in Tuckersmith.
Because the number of
' deer/car colligions in 1980
has reached record highs in
Huron County a controlled
deer hunt will be held No-
vember 3, 4 and 5 in- three
zones, 89, 90 and 91,
managed by the Ministry of
Natural Resources.
Other reasons given , for
the hunt are because poach-

legitimate hunters are

appear to be increasing in
Huron, and the controlled
hunter numbers system in-
cluding landowner
preference, is compatible
with agricultural practices
and rural development.
Licences will be restricted

available from the Ministry
of Natural Resources at
