On Thursday Shirley
Luther, S.A., of Hensall and
Thelma Bode planned a pic-
nic at - the ' Lions's Park.
Shirley had car trouble and
couldn't come so Thelma
took several of the residents
to the Park where they
-watched-the-ewimmers-in-the-
pool with interest.
They had a picnic lunch
and returned to Kilbarchan.
Shirley Luther then made
plans to come for a church
service on Friday which was
welcomed since we haven't
had church all summer. As
promised. Shirley came Fri-

In support of this, she read
St. Luke's gospel, Chapter 8,
which tells the familiar Bible
story of when Jesus and his
adeseiples-went-out-in-a-boat
to fish and a storm arose.
The disciples were seized
with fear and wakened Jesus
and asked Him to save them
lest they perish. Jesus re-
buked them by saying "Oh
ye of little faith." Mrs.
Luther stressed Jesus?, words
reminding us we must have

August 23rd for their son and
brother Peter Dimaline who
is leaving for Nova Scotia to
join the Canadian Armed
Forces in September.

Harold McLallum, R.R. #1 Walton and Wayne Arthur
Hartman, sem of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hartman were
married in Walton United Church on August 8, 1980 at 7
p.m. Reverend Pick of Clinton officiated at the,ceremony.
The bride was given away by her father. Shirley McClure
of Seaforih was the maid of honour. The bridesmaids were
Mrs. Marion Hare of Stratford, sister of the bride, and
Mrs. Bette McCallum of R.R. # 4 Walton, sister -intim of
the bride. The best man was Kevin Dutot ofiClinton, and
the ushers were Dennis Fleischauer of Clinton and Carl
McCallum, R.R. #1 Walton. The organist was Mrs. Ray
Heauter of 11.R. #3 Walton, and the soloist was Mr.
Graeme Craig of R.R. #1 Walton. Following the wedding,
a reception was held at the Hensel! Community Centre.
After a wedding trip to Northern Ontario and the United
States, the couple will reside at their new home in

and Mrs. Kusti biome of Sault Ste. Marie and Thomas
Kenneth Richardson. sun of Mr. and Mrs. Gordoe
Richardson. Clinton. were married at the couples' harne in
Tuckeretnith Township on July 26. Rev. Wesley Bali of
Tharnesford United Church officiated at the ceremony.
The matron of honour was Elaine Goold of Exeter. The
groomsman was Robert McKenzie of Bnicefield. The
music was provided by Ken Freebairn of Exeeer on guitar,
with singers Beth and Dave Prouty accompanying organist
Mary Lout Tait of Exeter. afd Norm Tait playing bass. A
special prayer was offered for the couple by Pastor Keith
Gonyou of the Exeter Pentecostal Church. Following a
honeymoon to Sault Ste. Marie, the couple will reside at
