IvEss Pam Hackwell told of
her experience at the Queen
of the Fair competition in
Brussels recently when she
was chosen Miss Congenial-
ity. Pam had her many gifts
she -had -received on display
including the engraved
charm in a maple leaf pattern
which the Institute presented
to her when they sponsered
her in the special event.
Steve Cook of Clinton_spoke

outside, and told how a
flower or weed could be
edible and how to use it. He
answered questions frOm the
members and guests. Mr.
Cook was, introduced by
convenors, Mrs. George Mc-
Call and presented with an
envelope of money from Mrs.
Harvey Craig on behalf of the
Institute.
Lunch was served by Mrs.
K. McDonald, Mrs. E Ste-
vens, and Mrs. G. McCall.

The men's So -Pitch
entered a tournament in
Auburn over the Labor Day
weekend losing their first
game Saturday afternoon to
Carlow then in second game
played Saturday evening
winning against the Harbour
Park team from Goderich. On

The Moms and Dads had

Howard Cartwright led his

wife Marjorie and her
teammates. It was decided to
