number of hunters to hunt any deer in
applicable management zones.
SELECTIVE HARVEST SYSTEM:,
In this system hunters wiShing to hunt
antlerless deer must submit an Application
to Hunt Antlerless Deer to Wildlife Branch,
Queen's Perk and postmarked no later than
August 20, 1980. Only one .application Will
be accepted for an antierless permit,
although the applicant will have a choice of
two management zones in which to hunt.
Zones In Huron County managed by the
Controlled Hunter System (e.g. 89, 90, 91)
should -bot be included as -a -choiceMiff
successful applicants will be notified, and
permits will be valid only for one of the zones
chosen. Party hunting for antlerless deer will
not be legal; only the huntet possessing a.
valid antlerless deer permit may kill and seal
an antlerless deer. Antlerless application

controlled. This System limits the number of
hunters Who car: hunt 'deer with a resident's
licence in any designated zone. Both
antlerless and antlered deer May be
harvested itt these zones without having to
apply to Queen's Park for an antlerless
permit. However, in zones managed by
Controlled Bunter Numbers all hunters must
apply to the. Wingham District Office
between Setitember 2 and September 30,
1980 to enter a draw for a free validation
stamp. The draw will be held October 6,
1980. Requests for applications are being
accpeted now.
Bowhunters who wish to, hunt antlerless
deer in Ontario must submit an application
to Gpeen's Park by August 20, 1980.
AntleriesS deer validation stamps issued for
a zone managed by Contrelle_d_ Hunter
Numbers will be valid for arehery only in
that zone. In addition all archers must
purchase a- $1.00 archery stamp to hunt
deer, regardless of the ;ones their choose.
Minimain requirements for archery
equipment come into effect on September 1,
1980.
