We'd like to welcome Stan
and Betty -Lou Smith and
their daughter Lisa to the
village. They recently moved
into the house they bought
from Bill and Barb Crawford.
Bonnie Dowson was chos-
en by the Hensall Co-op to
attend a camp at Genevft
Auk. Following is her ac-
count of her camping exper-
knee: "On Saturday, Aug.
16, I left for a week at
Geneva Park, a YMCA camp
at Orillia. This was a co-ed
camp with plenty of facilities
for our free time. We had
classes from 9:30 until 3:00,
then free time until 9:00 p.m.
when we had a one-hour
class. Then we were free to
_ .
do whatever we wanted.
Classes were mostly about
leadership skills, we talked
about communication with
others, listening, and help-
ing others. There was tennis,
badminton, basketball,
canoeing, everythingl 1 even
water skiied for the first
time.
There were 19 of us, and
we all stayed in one big
house called a wigwam. I
really enjoyed this camp, and
lthink it was a god learning
experience with the classes,
and also good experience in
cur free time With all the
recreational activities avail-
able.
This camp was sponsored
by United Cooperatives of
Ontario, and 1 am grateful to
the Hensall District Co-op for
sending me to this camp."
John Dowson, Dale Step-
henson,/ David Consitt and
Mark Taylor spent a few Aays
last week in the Wasaga
Beach area, and Bonnie
returned home with them.
Mrs. Morrison returned
home on Friday after spend-
ing a few days in Stratford
Hospital.
Tanis Chuter and Brenda
Dawson are entering Fan-
shawe College and are enrol-
led in the 'Medical Secretary
course.
Bonnie Dowson is
employed in the main office
at Wildwood on the River
Bayfield. Readers would ap-
preciate news of any other
young people who are taking
continuing education or be-
ginning employment.

often speaks to us. Do we
meet God personally by
listening in church and in the
