moved a week ago Monday to
Waterford. They had lived on
the 16th of Grey for the ci ast
51/2 years. Some of the
friendsand neighbours
gathered at their home
recently for a social evening
and presented them with
gifts before leaving the
neighbonrhood.
Mrs. Ben Coutts of Cran-
brook B.C. visited last Wed-
nesday with Mr. and Mrs.
Bill Courts.
The Storey picnic was held
on Sunday afternoon at the
home of Emerson and Mrs.
Mitchell with approximately
85 in attendanc6. There were
races in the afternoon for the

children and a program was
enjoyed after the bountiful
supper. A special birthday
cake was made by Mrs % Lila
Storey to honor Mrs. John
Storey on her 92nd birthday

receiving the federal Old Age Security
pension. If you are eligible, aimplete the
application and -return it as quiddy as you
can. Your Grant will soon be on the way
The Property Tax Grants of up to S500
help offset municipal and school taxes for
Ontario's SelliOr Citizens, There is al90 a Sales
TaX Grant of 550 each for every senior
citizen starting in 1980. For seniors, these
Grants replace Ontario Tax Credits pre-
viouslyclaimed by filing income tax returns.
You are eligible for an Ontario Property
Tax Grant if:
*You are 65 years of age Or older and
.You paid rent or property taxes on
your principal residence in 1980,
