evening took the sorm of an "at home"

lowed the organiz ton of the Canadian
Postmasters into sooiety for mutual
benefit, it bas bee decided to form an
association of the postmasters of this

the Council Chain er, Town Hall, Clin-
ton, on Tuesday, e 9th of October, at

formation of a Co nty Association, and

Power Com ission Reports.
The third repor of the Ontario Hydro -
Power Comraissio has just been issued.
It deals with that portion of Ontario
bounded on the w at by Lake Huron
and Georgian Bay and on the south,
east ad north by t e districts covered
by the Niagara an Trent reports al-
ready issued and b the water -shed of
the Ottawa River! and which, for the
purpose of the re ort, ate called the
Lake Huron and eorgiau Bay district.
As in 'the previou reports, the whole
question is gone into with careful detail,
the statistical inte mation being most
exhaustive. The report says that six-
teen thousand ho se power would be
needed. The Co mission recommends
that waterpowers not yet leased by the

Mr. Charles Bolton father of Mrs. R.
H. Crowder of this t wn was severely
injuree at London on onday afternoon,
while at work as a ca repairer for the
Pere Marquetee Rail ay. In company
with another workm , they were work-
ing under a box oar, hen a locomotive
backed against the ar. Mr. Bolton's
back was crushed a torn by the bolts
and rods under the ar, and after exa-

his ribs were broke and he was injured
