"We're starting to turn things
around - but slowly," commented
coach Robinet.
"We're scoring a few more runs,
our pitching has been good and our
defence is improving. We seem to
be scoring our runs in bunches. In
Wednesday's game, we scored six
runs in two innings, then nothing in
the next seven; and it ended up
costing us the ball game. But I
think we now realize that every in-
ning is important, and hopefully we
can score more runs throughout the
game and not have those innings
where we don't score any."
The Merchants are on the road
for the next three games, travelling
to Kincardine on Thursday,
Lakeside on Sunday, and Exeter on
Tuesday.
