The MarGeneral meeting was held on
May 17th with Comrade Mel Melanson in
the chair. One new member was presented
for initiation in the person of Margaret
Lamont.
Donations were made to the Mosquito
Soccer team ($111)' to Brandon Nash and
Sean Anstett for hockey instruction this
summer, ($425) Merchants Ball team
($125) and the Stratford Boys choir ($500.)
Another plan has been proposed for the
elevator and a building to house sem.
When enough proposals have been made
and concrete costs and esthnates made, a
special meeting will be called for the pro-
posals to be voted on by the membership.
The Legion was asked to participate in
a Grave -side ceremony to inter the last re-
mains of Comrade Jack MacNab. Legion
Padre
ding held the service with
a number of Legion personal present.
Jack's medals were, presented to Comrade
Frank Phillips'.for display in the Legion.
Lunch was served at the Branch by the
Ladies Auxiliary. •

evening -as quite a few skits from various
Branches in the Zone are participating.
To those members who are hi hospital,
the Branch wish'es a speedy recovery.
The members of the Branch were sorry
to hear of the death of. Comrade Bill
O'Shea after a short illness. To his family
and friends we extend our sincere sym-
pathies in their loss of a father and friend.
They grow not old as we that are left
grow old. Age shall net Weqry them nor
