Venture capital
deadline approaches
Students interested in establishing and
operating a summer business have until
June 8th to apply for a loan from the Stu-
dent Venture Capital Program.
The program provides interest-free loans
of up to $3,008 to students 15 years and
older who are returning to athool full -true
in September. In 1989, the program provid-
ed more than 1,1m a students with loans to
help them start their own summer
businesses.
The program is administered by the
Ministry of Industry, Trade and
Technology in conjunction with local;.
Chambers of Commerce, Boards of Trade
and the Royal Bank of Canada.
