MAC ENGEL 8874645 011R,0N EXP-QS1TORMAY 9: 1990 19 Mr. and Mrs. Allan Fretz were in Fer$us. on Saturday when they attended the :,110th birthday celebration for Allan's grandmother. Oscar A. Huehn died on Friday, May 4 at Pinehaven Nursing Home, Waterloo, in his 101st year. He was the husband of the former Iona Steiss, a brother-in-law of Emylene Steiss and -uncle of Stewart Steiss. Be is survived by two sons, Stewart of Elmira and Donald of London. Mit. Bette Cooper of Ottawa spent the weekend with the Chris Lee family, Walton. She visited her father Harold Snaalldon at the Callander Nursing Home int Brussels, and called on Mrs. Mac Engel, Cranbrook. Itis s. Lloyd Smith received word on Saturday of the death of her brother-in- law, Pat Fitzsimmons, at Windsor. Huron Playhouse auditions set Huron Country Playhouse will be holding auditions in Grand Bend on Wednesday, May 23 and Thursday May 24 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for anyone aged six to sixty, who would like the opportunity of be- ing in one of the great musical productions scheduled for the 1990 summer season - GYPSY and ANNIE GET YOUR GUN. Singing and dancing are required of all prospective actors, with "tap" dancing a must for all children selected for GYPSY. Rehearsals and production dates will re- quire a full -week commitment by all those participating in the shows. If you are interested, call the Playhouse at 238-8387 for information and appointments.
