Many dance troupes provided entertainment at the Sunday Jamboree. Oxford photo. Hospital Auxiliary members give comments on drug abuse films FRANCES R. TEATERO The Seaforth Hospital Auxiliary meeting April 10 was preceded by films on Drug Abuse. Members were asked to make com- ments on the films shown by Yvonne Kit- chen Director of Nursing. Educating the public to make them aware of drug abuse is most important in the society and the films were well received by the group. Final plans were made for eight members to attend the Spring Conference on April 30 at the Conestoga Inn in Kit- chener. The Penny Sale for the Auxiliary si to be held in. the van at the corner by the Toronto Dominion Bank. Set-up date is April 23. The Penny Sale will run until May 4 and the actual draw will take place ^� Saturday May 5. Marion MacLean is looking for knitters for baby outfits. Anyone interested please call her. The June dinner is to be held on June 12 at the Legion. Dorothy Hays has the tickets for this dinner, please contact her. The Tray favors for the patients for Easter were small wicker baskets which had jel- ly beans and a crocheted chicken in them. They certainly were appreciated by the pa- tients. Roll Call this month was small plants for the Activation Group. Members are saddened to hear of the passing of Ethel Dennis, a Life Member of the Auxiliary. Her kind and gentle ways will be missed by all auailans.
