Joe Krauskopf has retired from his mall
route, and he is wished a happy and long
retirement by his many friends in the
village, especially the residents of R.R. 1,
Dublin. Joe started delivering the mail
with the contractor, the late Walter
Carpenter, with a horse and cutter in 1939.
In 1977, he started the contract himself
with the Canada Post Corporation and
delivered mail to R.R. 1 Dublin up until
March 39, 1990. The mail always went
through, and Joe braved many stormy
days and bad roa, : to see that his friends
received their mai. His dedication his
customers and to Canada Post was superb.
R.R. 1 and 2 are now under contract and
are serviced by Michael . MacRae.
