The St. Columban Catholic Women's
League held a very successful bake auction
on Good Friday after the services. Joe
Visser and Bill Murray were kept busy for
a couple hours auctionning the large selec-
tion of cakes, pies, squares, homemade
bread and buns, muffins and other goodies
donated by the ladies.
The proceeds from the bake sale will go
to St.. Ann's Parish in Consuela, Dominican
Republic.
Get well wishes go , Brian Melady, Jr.,
who is a patient in the Stratford General
Hospital, after suffering from a knee
injury.
