The characters wear lumpy masks that snake their heads resemble peeled potatoes and they have amusing adventures with the neighbourhood mutt, a burglar and the newspaper delivery boy. Momma is the compulsive organizer and the head of the house; Poppa's main concern is to do as little as possible and Nancy Potato is an imaginative four-year old who has a never- ending supply of toys and lollipops that pop up everywhere. The Potato People create a hilarious and inventive mixture of car- toon characters that gets both adults and kids giggling.
