Members received pamphlets on cat and
dog food and health care for cats and
dogs. These came from the ROS at OMAF.
Special projects were discussed. Angela
Dohnage read her story for her project on
her pet Peppy.
The topic for the meeting was showing
animals at a show. Several members have
shown calves and they told how they
prepared their project for the show. A
balanced diet is important so the animal
will be healthy and look good. Training,
grooming and exercising should also be
done well in advance of show - y. Also the
shower should be well dressed and groom-
ed too. Sportsmanship at the show ',is
important.
Members answered some review ques-
tions in their books. Members practiced
judging a class of pets, stuffed that is and
Jenny DeJohn gave reasons.
Members received a copy of the skit that
Leanne Vogels prepared. After practising
it members saw a clip from Marketplace.
