The Hensall Horticfdtural Society Is plan-
ning a bus trip to Niagara Falls on Mon-
day, June 11, 1990. It will leave Hensall
United Church at 8 a.m. and will involve

entertain at Queensway Home

The organ prelude having beenla ed
by Carolyn Love, Rev. Mark called the
congregation to worship, that was follow-
ed by the singing of the Sanctus. Prayer of
Adoration and Lord's Prayer preceded.
The first hymn and prayer were followed
by the Prayer of Confession and Assurance
of. Pardon. Rev Mark was assisted in the
Lenten Reading and Prayer by Elder Jim
Love.
The Prayer of Illumination and scripture
lessons were in order prior to the choir
anthem.
Rev. Mark's sermon was "Jesus Wept".
Prayers of the people, announcements, and
offering were in order before reception and
transferring of new memberr�,, Darryl Mit-
ten was baptized into the chifrch and then
joined as a member.
The sacrament of Holy Communion was
offered to all by an invitation from Rev.
Mark. The Breaking of the Bread and the
Drinking of the Wine ended the very'
meaningful service.
Announcements: 7:30 p.m. Maundy
Thursday, Communion, April 12, Carmel
Presbyterian Church, and April 17 the
Carmel Board and Session Meeting.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
On April 2, the Presbyterian Church
Women met at the Carmel Presbyterian
Church with President Kathy Bell in the
chair. Marjorie Love was in charge of the
worship.
Guest speaker was Kathy Gaskin (wife
of Rev. Mark). She spoke on the lives and
ministry of the disciples with Jesus.
Carolyn Love and Debbie Lawrence sang
in duet. Announcement: This month the
P.C.W. will entertain the Seniors of the
Queensway Nursing Home. The meeting
closed in the usual manner.

Mrs. Ross Engel and Mrs. Mac Engel on
Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilfred Strickler returned
home on Thursday following three months
spent in Florida.
Grey Township firemen answered a call
to the Ron Malcolm house in Cranbrook
early Wednesday evening. Grease had
overheated on the stove causing extensive
smoke and water damage. Two pets, a cat
and a rabbit perished.

Forester's euchre on April 6 with the

day, April 3, 1990 at Scarborough General

Kathleen is the sixth grandchild of Dr. and
Mrs. Donald Penney and the fourth grand-
child of Mr. and Mrs. Hugo Menheere.
SMITH - Brad and Donna Smith of Mitchell

daughter, Jenna Irene, born at the Stratford
General Hospital on March 28, 1990, and
weighing 8 lbs. 5% oz. An excited sister is

KONKIN - Tom and, Luanne Konkin are
