Plans were discussed for the upcoming
celebration off Father Dandy's twenty-fifth
anniversary m the priesthood on May 27.
The proceeds from -the Good Friday bake
sale will all go to. St. Ann's Parish, Con-
suela, Dominican ilepublie. Ladies are 'ask-
ed to bring 2 items for this sale held after
the 3 P.M. service in the church basement.

weekend with Jack and Marie Cleary.
Home during the weekend with their
parents Joe and Olga Eckert were Mary
Schoonderwoerd, Mitchell, and Ann Hurley,
Stratford, Rose Marie Boryswick, Tammy
and Grant, Daniel grandchildren from
Stratford. Barbara Ann Eckert and friend
Brad Canning from Toronto spent the

Don and Eileen MacRae were with Nora
Ann and Ian and grandson Trevor Jackson
in London on Tuesday evening for a birth-
day dinner for Eileen. The couple also
spent the past weekend in Scarborough
with nephew Ron Davidson and wife Julie
and boys, Michael and Clifford.

Communion was held at the Palm Sun-
day service at Duff's United Church in
Walton. Reliving were Viola Kirkby;
Margaret Craig; Marie McGavin, Neil
McGavin; Ken McDonald and Graeme
Craig.
Pearl McCallum greeted at the door and
handed out bulletins. Organist was Glen..
Carter. Ushers were Ross Bennet and
Howard Hackwell. The Junior Choir sang
an anthem, "Spirit of Gentleness" accom-
panied by Marion Godkin at the piano.
Rev. Bonnie Cole Arnal told the children
the story about the very first Palm Sun-
day. After the candle ceremony the
children and their teachers went to their
classes in the basement. Chris Eckel read
the scripture lessons. Bonnie gave a

The Senlor Choir is •to practice' this
Wednesday from 7 to 7:50 p.m., Junior
choir practice is April 12 at 4:15 p.m. Unit
1 meets at the church this Wednesday and

Mr. and Mrs. Alvin McDonald arrived
home last week after spending several
months in Florida.
Helen Hazelwood, Hamilton spent the
week -end at the home of Viola Kirkby.
Ruth Thamer visited recently with
Margaret Michelle of Stouffvilfe.
Margery Ritchie has returned to her
home in Brussels after spending the winter
months wi her daughter Ruth and fami-
ly in Hamilton.

The fourth meeting of the McKillop #1
"Your Best Foot Forward" held its fourth
meeting at the Wheatley residence on
March 7.
The meeting was opened with the '441
pledge, and members then id an exercise
on how to help and treat a disabled per-
son. After that they went to the Whitney-
Ribey Funeral Home. Ross Ribey told
them some manners to use at a funeral
and what to say. He then took them on a
tour of the funeral home. When he was
through he was thanked and given a
present.
The fifth meeting was held on March 28
at the home of the Malones. Members read
through their booklets. Mary Lou Stewart
did a presentation on judging. Everyone
judged a table setting.
Pam Bennett told everyone about her
week at 9-H Camp. It sounded like fun. -
