NUMBER ONE - .Bob.. Mann, Regional Sales Manager- for J.I. Case Canada,
presented Marlen Vincent of Vincent Farm Equipment, Seaforth, with a special
award last week. Vicent Farm Equipment, Seaforth had the top sales volume of
111 Case IH agricultural dealers in Eastern Canada. In accepting the award Mr.
Vincent said, "It was a team effort. It couldn't be done without the help of ser-
vice, parts and support staff, and the obvious support of the customer base". Ac-
cepting the award with Mr. Vincent were: on left, Barry Vincent, Gary Elston and

OBITUARIES
ROBERT S. MCMICHAEL
Robert S. McMichael of RR 1 Walton,
died Tuesday, March 27, 1990 at the Clin-
ton Public Hospital. He was 80.
Born in Hulled Township on March 2,
1910 he was the son of the late Thomas J.
McMichael and the former Margaret
Evaline Scott. He was a life-long farmer
and was extremely proud of the shorthorn
cattle that he and his wife raised for many
years.
Mr. McMichael was also a member of
First Presbyterian Church in Seaforth.
He is survived by his wife, the former
Mabel Wright; one daughter, Audrey and
her husband Blair Bender of Cambridge;
and one son, Wayne McMichael and his
wife Margaret of Cambridge.
Also surviving are two sisters, Evalyn
McMichael of Goderich and Marjorie (Mrs.
William Dale) of Seaforth; four grand-
children; and one great granddaughter.
Mr. McMichael was predeceased by one
brother, Gordon.
A funeral service was held at the Ball
and Falconer "Box Funeral Chapel" in
Seaforth on Thursday, with the Reverend
James Sloan of First Presbyterian Church
in Seaforth, officiating. Interment Maitland
Bank Cemetery.
Flower bearers were Adam Bender and
Darrell and Jeffrey Dalton. Pallbearers
were John [tell, Donald Dalton, Kenneth
Dalton, Elgin Nott, Elgin Penfound and
Fred Waltham.
LORENA A. SCHERBARTH
Lorena A. Scherbarth died Tuesday,
March 27, 1990 at Botsford Hospital,
Detroit, Michigan.
The daughter of the late John L. and
Louisa (Ahrens) Bennewies of Brodhagen,
Mrs. Scherbarth is survived by two sons,
Kenneth and his wife Bertha, and Earl and
his wife Sue.
Also surviving are six grandchildren; a
number of great grandchildren; sisters,
Ella and her husband Ernie Hartja of
Westland, Michigan, Evelyn Smart of
Windsor, and Sylvia and her husband Pete
Kraus of Ruthven; a brother Glen and his
wife Leta of Windsor; sister-in-law Susan
Bennewies of Seaforth; brother-in-law,
August Scherbarth of RR 1 Bornholm;
sisters -in-laws, Daisy Scherbarth and Marie
Stender of Detroit, Michigan, and Adeline
and her husband Norman Mikel of Mit-
chell; and many nieces and nephews,
cousins and friends.
Mrs. Scherbarth was predeceased by her
husband Fred Scherbarth; 9ne daughter
Janet in infancy; and brothers, Edwin of
Seaforth, Irvin and wife Olive of
Woodstock and Clarence of Mitchell.
Funeral services were held from St.
Matthew's Lutheran Church, Westland,
Michigan, on Friday, March 30. The
Reverend R.F. Fischer and the Reverend
G.I.D. Headaphol officiated. Interment in
Glen Eden Memorial Park Cemetery,
Livonia, Michigan.
