Doug Wright greeted worshippers to the Bewail United Church on this the fourth' Sunday in Let. During the "Children's Time", Rev. Wright told the children to use the special gifts and blessings that God has given them to help others and make thus' hap- py rather than holding on to them or hiding them. Jennifer McGee, representing the Sunday School, read the scripture lesson. Rev. Wright's sermon was entitled "Opening Blind Eyes" and was based on John 9:1-41. Not only did Jesus restore the sight -of the blind roan but more ithportant- ly he revealed himself as the light and sight of the world. The choir sane"Lord Jesus Of You I Will Sing." The total raised this year for the Cana- dian Foodgrains Bank by the Hensall United Church was $2,050. On March 14, this money along with donations from nine other United Church pastoral charges, and a three to one C.I.D.A. matching grant paid for 140 metric tonnes of local corn, bagged and shipped from the Hensall Co- op.
