Communion Breakfast at St. Peter's
Church, Goderich on Sunday with Father
Nagel Council. Father John Sharp was the
Celebrant and Guest Speaker. He Was
assisted by Father McNamara. Father
Sharp is a native of Clinton and was also
Pastor at Immaculate Conception Church,
Stratford.

Grant, Tammy and Daniel Borysiuk of
Stratford; David and Tasha Steinbach of
Mitchell; Ann Hurley of Stratford; Joe Jr.

Weekend visitors with Mrs. Millie Evans

and Mr. and Mrs. Ron Murray attended
the funeral of Dr. Joe Murray in Guelph
last week. He was a nephew. of Katie's and
a cousin of the other Murrays in :Dublin

addressed .the topic of Freedor• Our Most Precious Heritage" and in it .she
stated) "1 believes that freedom is being able to make choices and decisions for
yourself...,and ofbeing:in 'control of your own life." For her efforts Morgan received
a-cllc, from the district, and„ a plaque from the Seaforth Optimist Club. Making
that epentation 'was Jack =Bedard, Chairman of the Seaforth Essay Contest.
Joanne Vain . Loon, • second le'it, .another Seaforth high school student, finished se-
cond to `Morgan in the locale competition, and also received a plaque for her ef-
forts. Presenting her with', her,, plaque is Sueburton, English teacher at SDHS.

We have received many requests for pictures appearing in our community paper.
The Huron Expositor is now goF g to have these screenprints available at the office,
10 Main St., one week after they appear in the paper. The pictures will be offered
for .50 each or 3 f r a $1.00 ad on a first come first serve basis. We invite yo to
come i. and look for our treasured moments.
A fantastic array of old and new quilts
greeted everyone when they entered the
Hibbert Township Hall on Wednesday

Women's Institute hosted'aii'afteithoon of
browsing and visiting for neighboring in-
stitutes and friends in the community..
Homemade crafts and baking were
available to buy and tea was served in the
basement with a St. Patrick's theme.
Over 80 visitors signed the guestbook
during the afternoon. Proceeds frothe
tea tables will be sent to Pennies for
Friendship.
PEOPLE
Members of the J. Templeman family
visited with Pat, Joanne, Mathew and Kel-
ly Donovan on Sunday at the farm, prior
to their return to Val D'or, Quebec.
Tracey Otten Carlingford was a weekend
visitor with Carrah Templeman.
INTENDED FOR LAST WEEK
The Heart and Stroke Foundation for
Hibbert Township raised $2,033.50 in a door
to door canvas this year, an increase over
last years record Thanks to all the people
of Hibbert township who contributed D this
worthy cause.

CHURCH WOMEN
Hibbert United Church Women held their
March meeting in the Family Life Centre
under the leadership of Margaret Daynard
and Mary F. Dow. To imprint "The
broadness of God's Love" scripture
passages were read by: Verle Mahon, Ada
Pethick and Gwen Christie. Using a film
strip "Many People One Hope" the study
theme pn "Multiculturalism" was enlarg-
ed. Since the • arrival of the Inuit from
Asia, people from round the world have
given us their uniqueness which results in
the Canadian Mosaic.
During the business session, it was
decided to have the Strawberry supper on
June 13; to continue to collect used
stamps; Campbell's soup labels and Staf-
fens tapes; and to provide cookies for the
London Conference which meets at Cen-
tralia College May 4,5,6. Margaret
Daynard brought her report of the United
Church Women's executive meeting and
announced dates for upcoming events,
United Church Women's Conference in Col-
lege Avenue Church, Woodstock April 2,3.
The April Events in Kirkton on April 30.
The April meeting of the local unit will be
held April 17 at 8p.m. The Master Jr
Gardener's Association of Stratford will be
in attendance to present a timely topic.
