Hello! Welcome to Queensway News.
Monday residents spent an enjoyable after-
noon at library time. There was lots of
laughter as they read aloud from the
"Canadian Farm and Home Almanac."

Fun and Fitness started the day Wednes-
day morning followed by games to keep
minds alert. Residents especially enjoyed
the Irish Trivia Quiz for March. In the
afternoon several residents attended
Matilda Pfile's Memorial service led by
Reverend Stojokovic.
All had a good afternoon on Thursday
when the students of Lakeview Conser-
vative Mennonite school visited. They sang
several songs and then assisted as
residents made homemade strawberry
icecream. The featured film for Thursday
evening was "Something Beautiful for
God" a very moving film about Mother
Theresa's work in Calcutta. Everyone
came away feeling very thankful they live
in a country that has so much.
Friday residents attended choir practise
with pianist Joyce Pepper. Following choir,
games of euchre, checkers etc. were
played with assistance from members of
the volunteer auxiliary.
Coining events are: March 29 Birthday
Party with Gladys Van Egmond and April
6 trip to Garden Bros. Circus in London.
