Hello! Welcome to Queensway News.
Father Hayes visited and led Mass for the
Catholic residents on Monday morning.
Residents also welcomed several of his
parishioners. In the afternoon residents en-
joyed Library Hour as they were
familiarized with the contents of the Activi-
ty Room Library and several of the
publications received each month.
Tuesday afternoon Reverend Parker of
the Varna -Goshen United Church led the
worship service with Floyd McAsh as
pianist.
Queensway Volunteer Auxiliary met

again want to thank everyone who con-
tributed in any way at the sale. In the
afternoon residents baked shamrock
cookies to enjoy at the St. Patrick's party
Saturday, March 17.
The Thursday movie night focus was
"Maple Syrup". Residents viewed two
films. The first was called "Maple Spring",
the second "Taffy". These films certainly
brought forth memories as several people
related their own sap gathering ex-
periences. More than half of the viewers
wheelchairs
had taken part in maple syrup making.
They also had just recently enjoyed pan-
cakes and syrup at their own Shrove Tues-
day meal.
Coming events are: Saturday March 17,
at 2:30 p.m. St. Patricks Party., Thursday
March 22, at 6:30 "Something Beautiful for
God" a film about Mother Theresa's work
in Calcutta and Thursday March 29, at 2
p.m. the Birthday Party with entertain-
ment by Gladys Van Egmond and group.
