The St. James Catholic Women's League
held a successful euchre on March 8 at the
school. Everyone enjoyed the evening with
nine tables playing.
The winners of the prizes were: Ladies
Palin, LadiesMyLow; Robertson,
ClMen's High;;, Harry
Mens
Low; Gary Bannon, Travelling Lone Hand;
Jean Wilbee; and Lucky Chair; Rita Kerr.

Sylvia Rebecca Tiffin. Mr. Parsons was a
building mover until his retirement in 1975.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons,
Harold and his wife Charlotte of Delta,
Brie': I Columbia, Bill and his wife Sally of
Mitchell and Ken Parsons of Staffa; one
daughter Jane and her husband Ken
MacLeod of• Staffa; and two broths
Keith and r l , wife Elsie of Stratfortrilid'
Gordon and his wife Jean of Mitchell.
Also surviving are six grandchildren,
Glen, Dennis and Dale Parsons, Tammy
Parsons, and Debbie and Lee -Anne
MacLeod; and four great grandsons in
B.C.
Mr. Parsons was predeceased by one
grandson Duane Parsons in 1989.
Friends were received at the Lockhart
Funeral Home in Mitchell, where funeral
services were held on Monday with Ann
Marie Allen of Hibbert Milted Church of-
ficiating. Spring interment will be in Staf-
fa Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations
may be made to the Heart and Stroke
Foundation or the Canadian Cancer
Society.
