There was almost perfect attendance at
the Legion Executive meeting last Thurs-
day night with 17 members present. Three
members expressed a desire to attend the
Dominion convention in Vancouver in June
of this year.
The visit of the Zone Commander Cl.
had to be postponed again in December
but is scheduled for Thursday evening
(tomorrow) when Comrade John Mac-
Donald hopes to be able to make his of-
ficial visit. First Vice President Gordon De
Jong will have his leadership seminar at
the conclusion of the meeting, followed by
Lunch.
The Seaforth Pee Wees have won again,
this time winning the Port Huron Silver
Stick tournament by beating Embrum Pee
Wees by a score of 6-3. With a team as
good as this Seaforth should have good
hockey players for a few years down the
road. The Legion wish them all the luck
possible in future games. They will be
playing in a tournament in Mitchell next
month and in the Young Canada Pee Wee
tournament in Goderich at the winter
break.
