hitting the mark once.
The first game of the new year was

and had several shots on goal, the final

HENSALL UNITED CHURCH
Worshippers at the Hensall United
Church were greeted and welcomed at the
door by Robt. Reaburn and Rev. Doug
Wright.
During the ' `Children's 11u}re' ;' the "Sun-
day School made a special presentation of
funds collected for Bibles to be sent to
Papua, New Guinea. Rev. Wright used a
globe to show the children where New
Guinea is located relative to Canada. Each
child was presented with a special pin -on
button for their efforts. Mark Bell, from
the Sunday School, read the scripture
lessons.
The choir sang "We Saw His Glory" by
Mauersberger.
The title of Rev. Wright's sermon was
"The St. Paul Epiphany Mystery". With
his usual wit and unique style, Rev. Wright
solved this mystery for us in record time
in the manner of Sherlock Holmes, Nero
Wolfe, and Ellery Queen using the verses
of Ephesians 3:1-12 as clues. Once again,
it was an interesting and thought provok-
ing presentation of the scriptures, loaded
with the one liners that Doug is noted for.
As a reminder, the Official Board of
Hensall United Church meets this Thurs-
day evening. The Executive meets at 7:15,
Committees at 7:30 and the full Board at
8 p.m.
