Death o George Porter.
Mr. Geo. Por er, son of Mr. and Mre.
Alex. Porter, Line, died at the home
of his brother . Flushing, Mioh., on
Wednesday evening of last week, aged
42 years. Dec .aced had not been in the
very best of he ;ith for some little time,
suffering a g eat deal with stomach
trouble. Last winter he left Wingham
to reside with his brother in Michigan
and when he left here was enjoying
fairly good he; lth. Deceased for many
years lived Wi h his parents on the Yarm
in Turnberry .nd was highly respected
by a large cirege of friends. Sonne years
ago he was in in playing football
and as a resnl ; one leg was amputated
and this was ; source of much trouble
to him. Hi numerous friends were
very sorry to hear of his rather sudden
