Donna Hazelden's three-year-old havanese dog, Kota, loves snow. Koto was thoroughly enjoying his morning walk in

Donna Hazelden
Donna Hazelden suggests that she may have to dig out some touques and
scarves for the Minion pumpkins she painted as Halloween decorations.
Perhaps they could have used a snow brush to clear their view on October 18,
2015, as well.
First fall snow of 2015
Valerie Gillies
Lucknow Sentinel
A preview of the upcoming sea-
son came early this year as snow
blanketed much of the area begin-
ning on the evening of Saturday,
October 17 and continuing off and
on until about noon on Sunday.
Although this first snow will dis-
appear to return us to more sea-
sonal weather, it serves as a good
reminder to prepare homes, busi-
nesses and vehicles for the winter
we know will follow.
As you are going through your
wardrobe for the seasonal change,
please remember to think of those
who would appreciate your no -
longer -fits or discarded fashions.
Donations will gladly be accepted
through area agencies and thrift or
consignment stores to help others
prepare for the chilly weather.
