Hole -in -one for 84 -year-old
Lucknow's Ed Dahonick, 84, a former Kincardine resident,
nailed a hole -in -one at Goderich's Sunset Golf Course on
Sept. 27, 2015. The shot was made on the 7th hole at a
distance of 135 yards. Dahonick is a member of the men's
league at Sunset and is the oldest on his team.

CGIT celebrates 100 years

Former Canadian Girls in
Training (CGIT) members,
leaders and friends are
invited to celebrate 100 years
at Lucknow United Church
on October 17 from 1 to 4
p.m. There will be memories
and worship at 2 p.m. Many
churches in a wide area had
CGIT groups over the years
and these women are invited
to this last celebration.
Back in 1915, CGIT, an inter-
denominational, church -cen-
tred program for girls across
