Happy crowd enjoys A Taste of Christmas Lucknow Presbyterian Church luncheon and sale Valerie Gillies Postmedia Staff It was a jovial atmos- phere at the Lucknow Presbyterian Church dur- ing their November 14, 2015 Taste of Christmas luncheon and bake sale. Pat Livingston com- mented that the crowd was steady and the organ- izers are happy with the turnout. "We are glad of the support of the com- munity. We even had a couple of ladies from Kincardine." The organizers thank all of the people who gave their support to this fundraiser by baking, making soups and volunteering at the event as that is an integral part of the success of the venue. Livingston explained, "We are now a small con- gregation. Unfortunately a lot of the helpers have aged and the number of workers has decreased." She added, "It takes a joint effort by a lot of people to pull it off." If the smiles, chatter and laughter of both workers and those who attended were any indication, Taste of Christmas 2015 was most certainly a success.
