Lucknow Music in the Fields now three -
days, ticket release Dec. 1, new camping
Lucknow's Music in the
Fields (LMITF) 2016 is
becoming a three-day festi-
val for the 8th annual event
next Aug. 25-27, 2016.
" With so many of you
coming in as early as
Wednesday night, we
wanted to offer even more
fun for the weekend...so let's
get the party started even
sooner," said LMITF's Ken
Irwin.
Ticket release Dec. 1
MITF has also announced
it will be releasing ticket and
camping for sales on Dec. 1,
2015, with a goal to make
them available for
Christmas.
For more information visit
www.ticketscene.ca at 10
a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1 to
get passes. No secret pass-
word or access code needed.
'A queue system will be in
place to prevent server over-
load given the amazing
response we have for the
ticket release last year," Irwin
said. "This announcement is
only being made through
Ticketscene, the local papers
and through our Facebook &

Twitter accounts to give our
past supporters first crack at
the tickets:'
The MITF committee is
hard at work booking artists
for the 2016 show, but will
not be releasing any names
until the spring.
"But rest assured it is lin-
ing up to be an amazing
weekend of entertainment,"
he said.
Major camping
improvements
The Lucknow and District
Kinsmen, the organization
that presents this event, has
purchased an over 55 -acre
parcel of land to provide a
permanent and long term
camping solution. 'Grace -
land' is named after the orig-
inal land owner and will
have our Standard Camp-
sites with both general
camping and family/quiet
areas.
"These sites will be filled
on a 'first come, first serve
basis' the weekend of the
event, so if you want to camp
together, you need to arrive
together," Irwin said. "With a
10-15 minute walk to the
venue, and shuttle service
still available, it will allow us
to provide consistent camp-
ing to our concert goers."
Camping on Havelock St.
will still be available. These
'Premium Campsites' will be
in limited quantity and
priced accordingly and only
these sites will be
pre -assigned.
"So when you book your
site, let us know who you
want to camp with, and we
will make those arrange-
ments in advance of the
event," Irwin said. That way
you don't have to worry
about when you arrive to
ensure you are camping next
to friends.
Also new this year, all
campsites will include two
wristbands for those camp-
ing at that site. Campers will
be able to purchase up to an
additional four wristbands -
for a total of six people per
site. All camping Wednesday
night to Sunday morning is
inclusive, with no single -
night camping available.
