An evil plot to destroy
Christmas has prompted
Alice to "Return to Wonder-
land" in the play by Cana-
dian playwright Thom Ben-
nett presented as the 2015
December Youth Production
of the HAWK Theatre. The
Director is Mackenzie Carru-
thers and Maureen Matchett
is Producer.
Performances of "Return
to Wonderland" will be in
the evenings of December 4
and 5, with an afternoon
performance on December 6
at the fully accessible Luc -
know Town Hall Theatre.
This comical performance
combines some of our
favourite Wonderland char-
acters with some storybook
personalities in an adven-
ture to thwart evil and save
Christmas.
There are 22 local youth
actors from aged 6-14 years
in full costume to bring to
life the surprising twists and
turns of the tale, displaying
many of the beloved or
feared traits of the fictional
characters they portray.
