The Lucknow Sentinel, 2015-11-18, Page 88 Lucknow Sentinel • Wednesday, November 18, 2015 Join Alice in her "Return to Wonderland" HAWK Theatre December Youth Production An evil plot to destroy Christmas has prompted Alice to "Return to Wonder- land" in the play by Cana- dian playwright Thom Ben- nett presented as the 2015 December Youth Production of the HAWK Theatre. The Director is Mackenzie Carru- thers and Maureen Matchett is Producer. Performances of "Return to Wonderland" will be in the evenings of December 4 and 5, with an afternoon performance on December 6 at the fully accessible Luc - know Town Hall Theatre. This comical performance combines some of our favourite Wonderland char- acters with some storybook personalities in an adven- ture to thwart evil and save Christmas. There are 22 local youth actors from aged 6-14 years in full costume to bring to life the surprising twists and turns of the tale, displaying many of the beloved or feared traits of the fictional characters they portray. The cast includes first time actors to the HAWK Theatre stage Elle Schu- macker aged 8, daughter of April and Brad Schu- macker; Madison Ritchie aged 10 and Natalie Ritchie aged 14, daughters of Patrick and Heather Ritchie; Abigail Eadie aged 8, daughter of Mat- thew and Angela Eadie; Nick Anson aged 13 and Anna Anson aged 9, son and daughter of Leigh and Laura Anson; Peter Jakob - sen aged 12, son of Mort and Helene Jakobsen; Nathan Barger aged 14 who has worked backstage in previous years and has now joined the onstage cast, son of Doug and Heather Barger; Drayton MacKenzie aged 10, daughter of Misti Hum- phrey and Brian MacKen- zie; Lochlyn Chow aged 9 and Ever Chow aged 6, daughters of Scott and Karissa Chow; Rory Parish aged 13, daughter of Kim Farrish; Ally Wilson aged 8, daughter of Chad and Lisa Psutka. Returning to the stage are actors Shelby Barger aged 10, daughter of Doug and Heather Barger; Sam and Howard Graham aged 9, sons of Steve Howard and Suzanne Alton; Tamara Lawlor aged 12, daughter of Maria Poels; Jaden Symes aged 9, daughter of Rob Symes and Jen Welsh; Alexis Logtenberg aged 12, daugh- ter of Ken and Agnes Logtenberg; Liam Psutka aged 13, son of Chad and Lisa Psutka; Nikki Marion - McMahon aged 13, daugh- ter of Deb Marion; Claire Howard aged 11, daughter of Steve Howard and Suzanne Alton.
