LAWN WATERING RESTRICTIONS IN EFFECT
June 1st, 2015 to September 15th, 2015
Pursuant to By -Law 2010-46, residents of the Township of Huron -Kinloss that
are connected to MUNICIPALLY OPERATED water supplies are advised that:
ODD numbered houses may only water lawns and gardens on
odd numbered days
EVEN numbered houses may only water lawns and gardens on
even numbered days
and only between the hours of
6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. as well as 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m., except those
properties with automatic sprinkler systems.
For properties with automatic sprinkler systems; watering must occur
from 4:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m., on the property's respective day.
SET FINE FOR CONTRAVENTION - $50.00
This By -Law does not apply to hand held hose watering
or new lawns planted less than 30 days.
Note: The By -Law Enforcement officer will be conducting regular patrols at all
times, and will be issuing fines to residents who do not conform to the By -Law.

NOTICE TO LUCKNOW RESIDENTS
The Township of Huron Kinloss has awarded Contract No. 14093 to Lavis
Contracting Co. Ltd. for the installation of new water main, replacement of the
existing storm drainage system and road resurfacing of Outram Street from
Campbell Street to Wheeler Street, and Willoughby Street from Bob Street to
Havelock Street.
Work is tentatively scheduled to begin on Outram Street June 8, 2015
with completion prior to starting Willoughby Street on June 29, 2015. The
Willoughby Street work is scheduled to be completed by September 4,
2015. During this time we ask for your patience and understanding, as some
inconveniences such as detours, temporary access delays to properties, and
other construction related nuisances will be unavoidable.

accordance with the Weed Control Act, R.S.0, 1990 Sections 3, 16, and 23,
that unless noxious weeds growing on their lands within the Township of
Huron -Kinloss are destroyed by the date of June 16th, 2015 and throughout
the season, the municipality may enter upon the said lands and have the
weeds destroyed, charging the costs against the lands.
The cooperation of all citizens is requested.
