Querida did not seem to mind either the rain or the extra guests in the field when the Lucknow Sepoy Ranees visited the DL Farms Alpacas on July 17, 2015. Lucknow Sepoy Ranees visit DL Farms Alpacas Valerie Gillies Lucknow Sentinel Dee Graham, owner of DL Farms Alpacas led the tour and answered questions when the Lucknow Sepoy Ranees visited on July 17. The tour began with a les- son on alpacas, followed by a walk into the pasture to meet and pet the animals. Alpacas are very gentle. Graham reports that they are one of the easiest and agreeable type of livestock to raise and work with. The tour continued in the house where the wool is cleaned, processed and made into several products for sale on the market. Gra- ham had set out a variety of the fashions they sell. The wool is very strong and also very warm to wear, which makes it a popular choice for outerwear, socks, other gar- ments and accessories such as purses. There were some baby alpacas in the field of DL Farms Alpacas on July 17, 2015. All of the alpacas present are females. There are different natural colours of their wool.
