Thompson hosted her annual
New Year's Levee at Teeswater
Town Hall on Wednesday, Jan-
uary 14, 2015, to announce the
recipients of the 2014 Huron -
Bruce Outstanding Citizen
Award.
"It was a great pleasure to
host tonight's event. Huron -
Bruce is a better place because
of the efforts of these individu-
als, and itis important to recog-
nize the work that they do every
day; said Thompson.
Marking the end of 2014 and
beginning of a new year, MPP
Thompson used the evening to
recognize citizens who have
distinguished themselves as
community leaders and made
considerable contributions to
Huron and Bruce counties over
the last year.
"It is an absolute honour, as
the Member of Provincial Par-
liament for Huron -Bruce, to
extend sincere congratulations
to all of the 2014 recipients, who
get involved because they care
and are inspired to engage in
activities that generate commu-
nity spirit and pride. Thankyou
for all you do" said Thompson.
