Ben- net delivered the sermon at the Deconsecration Service at St. Peter's Anglican Church in Luc - know on Saturday, January 17, 2015. The message was based on the life cycle and nature's cycle. Bennet stated, "Life is never stag- nant, it moves on. Things cannot stay the same. Some things have to cease to be to make room for some- thing else." To hold onto something too long can inhibit the better future from beginning. This was his message to the members of this congregation of the Parish of New Beginnings. The sanctuary was filled with those who offered their support to the congregation during this transi- tion time and those who needed to say their own goodbyes to a building that holds so many memories. There were lots of hugs, lots of well wishes and, of course, many tears.
