He regularly clears the sidewalks for BMO, Omni Insurance Brokers and the Lucknow Sentinel as well as using his tractor for blowing snow in the village of Lucknow. Up until 6 years ago, Kranenburg had the butcher shop in town. Now he does snow removal in the winter to keep himself busy. He is open to taking on new customers and can be reached at 519-528-2436. Secondary Information Nights for Grade 8 Students Bluewater District School Board Submitted Current grade 8 students and their parents who are interested in learning more about the transition to a Bluewater District School Board secondary school are invited to attend any of the upcoming information nights that are being planned. All 11 secondary schools are once again opening their doors to showcase the many pro- gramming opportunities available to help put stu- dents on the path to suc- cess. In addition to provid- ing curriculum and registration information, these evenings will allow those attending to experi- ence firsthand the vibrant, diverse and inclusive sense of community and spirit found in a Bluewater Dis- trict School Board high school. The local times are: Tues- day, February 10 at 7:00 p.m. for Walkerton District Community School and Wednesday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. for Kincardine District Secondary School. Coming up on Wednes- day, January 14th at 6:30 pm will be a free showing of the movie "The Immigrant': Synopsis: 1921. In search of a new start and the Ameri- can dream, Ewa Cybulska and her sister Magda sail to New York from their native Poland. When they reach Ellis Island, doctors discover that Magda is ill, and the two women are separated. Ewa is released onto the mean streets of Manhattan while her sister is quarantined. Wednesday, January 14, 2015 • Lucknow Sentinel 5 .Police WANTED MAN CAPTURED (LUCKNOW, ON) — On January 2, 2015, a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol along Campbell Street in Lucknow recognized a male that was the subject of an outstanding arrest warrant. The man fought with police and managed to drive off in a White Oldsmobile. The ve- hicle was located and stopped in Perth County where the man was arrested without incident. Thirty-two year old Blair WILSON of Huron -Kinloss Township has been charged with dangerous driv- ing, drive while disqualified, assault peace officer, personation and 2 counts of breach probation. He was held in custody pending the results of a bail hearing scheduled for January 2, 2015. There were no injuries to the police or the accused reported in this incident. POLICE INVESTIGATING BREAK AND ENTER (KINLOSS TWP, ON) — On Jan- uary 2, 2015 at 11:33 am, the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a break and enter report from a residence in the 800 block of Grey Ox Avenue in Kinloss Township. Sometime between December 26, 2014 and January 1, 2015 the home was forcibly entered. The list of stolen property includes 2 black solar LED lan- terns, hammer, screwdriver and a folding saw with a black handle. The value of the stolen items is estimated to be more than $200. Tracks found nearby are similar to what would be left by an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV). Residents are encouraged to report suspicious vehicles and suspicious people as soon as pos- sible so officers can investigate. The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with informa- tion that can assist police to call 1-888-310-1122.
