Fire Claims Shop in Dungannon Valerie Gillies Editor, Lucknow Sentinel Jack and Judy Miller lost their hobby shop at their home on Joseph Street, Dungannon to fire on December 27, 2015. Jack Miller said "The fire started about 5:30 p.m., right around suppertime. The shop was totaled." Fire crews worked to protect the Miller home as well as the neighbouring home of the Wilkins family. The intense heat from the fire melted siding on both houses and damaged two windows on the Miller home, one of which cracked. Miller reports that it was a two-story shop. The ground level was used as a hobby shop to repair cars for his own family and with friends. Both Jack and his son enjoy working on cars. The upper level contained some antiques and other such items collected mostly by Judy. The insurance adjusters for both households have com- pleted their inspections to asses the damage. The Millers have been given clearance by their insurance to start the clean-up of the shop.
