She was the beloved wife of the late Leonard "Punch" MacDonald who died in 1998. Fern was born July 22, 191 in Alma Township to the late Clara McLaughlin and James Carnochan. She was the dear mother of Jim & Karen of London, and Ron & Bonnie of Kincardine. Missed by her grandchildren Johanna, Cameron (Carrie), Andrew, Scott, Lisa Sallbank (Chris Huys), Aaron (Candis), and Joshua (Lindsay), and by her great- grandchildren Amelia, Breanna, Evan, and Hailey. Survived by her nieces Sharon Bean and Brenda Walker and her many MacDonald nieces, nephews and family. Predeceased by her sisters Greta Reid and Doris Van Camp. The funeral service was conducted on December 21, 2015 at MacKENZIE & McCREATH FUNERAL HOME, Lucknow. Rev. Peggy Kinsman officiated and Anne Pritchard was the organist. Interment at the Greenhill Cemetery. Donations to the Luck now Presbyterian Church or the Heart & Stroke Foundation were appreciated as expressions of sympathy. To everyone who offered donations, cards and food in our homes with kind words and stories we sincerely thank each of you. Thanks to Dr. Shubat, Dr. Korver- maker and nurses on the 2nd floor of Wingham Hospital, your excellent care and compassion went beyond any of our wishes. We appreciate the caring direction of Mary Ellen, Joan and John at MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home. Thanks to Doug Helm for the excellent eulogy reflec- tion grandma P's life. To Jennifer Kozak for your wonderful rendition of the Rose for Grandma, thank you. To Pastor Judy Zaru- bick for her words of comfort and keeping it nice and short the way Mom would have like it. Also to Karen Martyn for your skills at the organ thanks. R Villa words do not ex- press our thanks enough for the care and friendship that Mom found in her new home 8 years ago. You all are wonderful. To the Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren who acted with such dignity as pallbearers and flowerbearers, Grandma would have been so proud.
