This Christmas season, the Huron County OPP Auxiliary Unit will be host- ing two special events to help those in need. "The generosity demon- strated in past years has been absolutely over- whelming," said Huron OPP Auxiliary staff sergeant David Gagne in a media release. "Our local OPP Auxiliary Unit looks for- ward every year to organiz- ing and supporting the toy and food drives. So please stop by and make a dona- tion that will make this Christmas just a little more enjoyable for those that are in real need." On Saturday, Dec. 12, 2015 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Auxiliary OPP officers will be at Scrimgeour's Food Market located on Drummond Street in Blyth collecting donations of cash and food for those in need throughout Huron County. On Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Huron OPP Auxiliary mem- bers along with Salvation Army members will be at the Goderich Walmart col- lecting donations of cash and toys to be distributed by the Salvation Army to those in need.
