Public Works Operator
The Township of Huron -Kinloss is seeking a qualified person for the position of Public
Works Operator.
This position is 40 hours per week and the successful applicant will assist in the operation
of all Public Works services.
Applicant must possess the following:
• Valid AZ licence or minimum DZ with ability to obtain AZ within 6 weeks
• Results oriented
• Able to operate and maintain a variety of equipment to construct roads and maintain
the services provided by the Public Works Department
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Good communication and organization skills

TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Act, 2001, Section 238 (2)
and By -Law 2012-20 of the Township of Huron -Kinloss every municipality and local board
shall pass a procedural by-law for governing the calling, place and proceedings of meetings,
AND TAKE FURTHER NOTICE THAT it is the intention of the Council of the Township of
Huron -Kinloss to hold a Special Council meeting as follows:
Special Council Meeting: Wednesday, September 9th, 2015 following the General
Committee meeting at 7:00 p.m.
All meetings are held in the Township of Huron -Kinloss Council Chambers, 21 Queen Street
Ripley, Ontario.

NOTICE TO RATEPAYERS
The first installment of the 2015 Final tax levy is due on
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 1, 2015.
Taxes may be paid through pre -authorized payment, telephone/internet banking, mailed to or
at the Municipal Office, 21 Queen St., Ripley, office hours are 8:30 a.m. & 4:30 p.m. Monday
through Friday. For your convenience, interac as well as post dated cheques are accepted at
the office. There is also an after hours drop box located at the front of the office.
Taxes not paid by the due date are subject to interest charges of 1.25% per month. Please
ensure your payment is received in the office by the due date. When making payment
through Telephone/Internet banking & Teller/ABM payments please allow minimum two (2)
business days for payment to be received in the municipal office.
FAILURE TO RECEIVE A TAX BILL DOES NOT RELIEVE THE TAXPAYER FROM THE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR PAYMENT NOR THE LIABILITY OF PENALTY CHARGES FOR
LATE PAYMENT.
Any ratepayer who has not received a tax notice is advised to contact the
Township of Huron -Kinloss Municipal Office at (519) 395-3735 as soon as possible.
