What a great year these
kids had! We won silver in
the Lucknow Summerfest
tournament & we came 1st
overall in our regular
season.
There are 11 teams in our
league & we won every
game. Since there was an
odd number of teams the
top team got a by going into
playoffs which were held in
Bayfield. So we didn't play
the first week. The second
week we played Wingham
Pharmasave and we won
14-2. The 3rd week we
played Brussels and won
6-4. We ended up first in
the round robin for the
tourney. We played against
St. Columban in the semi's
on Sat. August 8 at 10:30
a.m. and won 10-2. We
were going to the Gold
medal game against Clin-
ton at 3:45. We had a great
game but we ended up los-
ing in a 15 minute
Overtime.
Lucknow came home
with the Silver Medals. So
proud of these kids and
loved coaching them!

Are you a young entre-
preneur in need of money
to fuel your start-up, idea or
small business? Then apply

Next Gen Den, presented

Next Gen Den is Dragons'

are a launching pad for young
entrepreneurs, pitching start-
ups and early-stage busi-

those companies to the next
level. But remember - the
rules of the Den remain the
same - pitchers must get all
the money they ask for, or they
walkawaywithnothing. To be
eligible, entrepreneurs must
be 40 years old or younger.
Casting is now open with
filming set to take place in
Toronto in late September.
