Julie Bullivant was the
Master of Ceremonies at the
Ambassador Competition
and Variety Night. The even-
ing began with the audience
joining Serena Rutledge in
an a cappella singing of 0
Canada. Reunion Chair
Amanda Farrell Walsh deliv-
ered the welcome, remind-
ing everyone of the 2015
theme "All Roads Lead
Home':
The entertainment began
following the introduction of
the Ambassador contestants.
The "Ripley Reunion
Anthem" was heard for the
first time as a DVD version
was played with the words
being projected onto a
screen on stage. The song
was written by local musi-
cians Jeff Burrows, Darrin
MacDonald, Lennie
MacLeod and Ryan Berry.
The first of the scheduled
Danceology numbers had to
be forgone as the stage was
not large enough to accom-
modate the performance.
Following the Ambassador
speeches, Danceology stu-
dent Ava Stoneman per-
formed "Music Box Dancer"
followed by the duet of Ty
Pollard and Jayden Make,
performing "Talking to the
Animals':
The Reunion Feud
brought out laughter from
the audience. The Ripley
Wolves team won Round 1
against the Ripley Fire Fight-
ers. Second Round had the
Teachers vying against the
Beards. Due to a confusion
in the rules it was uncertain
who triumphed during that
round, but the Teachers
magnanimously forfeited.
This pitted the Wolves
against the Beards in a tight
final round that was awarded
to the Wolves for being the
team to give the final answer.
