SANTA MEETS AN ALIEN
let them go anyway. "What should
we call the little guy how about
Astro""OK" said Mrs. Clause. 1
have one more trip he took Astra
with him.
it gook a long time but Astro was
with him but he was losing all his
power because he was away from
his planet. But he got here anyway
in time. "We have to get him beck
to outer space" said Spacey. So
they went to out space.
It was a real adventure. They ran
into a meteor shower. Some aliens
from Jryster came near. They
bumped into man in the moon.
Finally they reached Pluto and
Astro got off. His parents were
looking for him. Santa Claus
brought toys to give to them. I
think it was pretty weird Christmas
when Santa met an alien. - Katie
Brodhagen, Grade 4, St.Patricks
School, Dublin.
SANTAS PROBLEM
It was almost Christmas 4hen
Santa got worried. He thought his
elves couldn't make all the toys in
time. But they did. Santa was so
happy he wanted to go out and fill
stockings. But he had to wait till
Christmas. - By Geoff Alexander,
Grade 4, Seaforth Public School.
1t was the day before Chrisunas
and the elves were making toys for
kids. All of a sudden the clock
strikes midnight and they busily
load up toys for you and me. He
landed on the city building and saw
a space craft commie* down
toword him. It landed an alien came
out that surprised Santa so much
that he forgot it was Chrisunas.
It was guater to one o'clock and
he just started he was off. The alien
helped him he was done in five
• mintues. After that he took him
back with him he could help Mrs.
Claus. When they got there Mrs.
Claus was surprised the alien
cleaned the whole house before you
could say Merry Christmas. "He
. could be a real help around the
house" said Mrs. Claus.
"Yeah" said Smiley elf "he can
help make toys too." But Santa
wasn't too sure about this. But they
WHAT'S THE TRUE MEANING
OF CHRISTMAS
Do you know what Christmas
• mean's? I'll bet you think it's a
time when you wake up early on
December 25 and open gifts that
are from Santa?
Well it's not, it's about how
, Jesus's birth, in a manger in Beth-
' lemhem and how the three wisemen
gave him gifts. The gifts were
frenakensents, siver and gold.
Jesus's parent's were Mary and
Joseph. Mary had to ride on a
donkey while Josephlec i4:1o. get
to Bethlehem. They tryed to get
into a inn but they were all full so
they went to a stable. The stable
had animals in it. There was a
donkey, a couple of cows and a
couple of sheep.
When Jesus was born there was a
bright star. It stuck out so
everybody would see it. It was a
beautiful sight.
' Jesus was a very good baby and
was well taken care of.
So if I ask you the question
What's the true meaning of
Christmas? What will you say? I
hope you don't say your wake up
early December 25 and open gifts
from Santa, but I hope you say we
open gifts on December 25 to
remember Jesus's birth and that the
1, gifts represent the wisemen giving
Jesus his gifts. So Think! - By
