Every day she walks W the barn and sits on tic old tit stool near hes favorite auto "E- mma". Because Kate has no brothers or sisters, she loves to tell an of her feelings to Emma. Every time Kate begins to talk. Emma seems to listen very carefully loo- sing her head every tune Kate changed ha tone of voice. Chnsunas was coming to life at the O'Connel's farm. The My idea of Chnsunas ui the County is having a nice two week long rest. Do a bit of homework and also play some hockey. Most of all be dad's hired help. Celebrate and go to a few parties Come Christmas morning find the - joy of giving to my mom and dad hejoyofgivingtomymomanddad plus my sister. Also 1 like to receive. So most of the excitement is over and its time for breakfast_ Imediatly after breakfast mom stuffs the turkey that had been siting out all night. Where id the turkey dome from From the summer when we raised 26 turkeys. As a family and a couple of my friends we cut the head off, plucked it and took its insides out etc. Its now time to move on to the ban. Dad and I feed the dry sows and then move on the other ferowin ban. Dad cleans out the crates and 1 clean out the dry sows pens. I give a scoop of weiner feed to the weiner pigolets. "That's it!" Kate shouted, frightening Emma, "1 can get than matchung !" Kase skipped to the h4•U•Y i►- rw wt•- he couldn't CHRISTMAS IN THE sows and weiners. Dad week bards the manure outside to the manure pile while 1 sweep down The any ways. Time to move on to die old barn with the dog trailing along of coarse. Dad and 1 cleaned, out the fat pigs, dry sows and weiners. Then we gave them all nice beds of straw. I turned the gee: on and One day at the North Pole Santa went out to check on his elves. But when he got to the workshop there, there were no olives in sight. Santa became worried because it was only two weeks before Christmas. Santa said, Oh 1 get it they want to play hide and go seek. OK. I am coming to get you! Santa looked all over the place but no olives were Santa knows now that the elvies where gone. Then he look over on the work table there was a note. It said, Deere Santa we are wart to see ha permits tm et whet they opened thou gilts. 'Mee days before Cuisine, '-./ama became very sick with pneumonia. So snit that she could not stand! Kate felf sad the Emma was so tick. Their taus because longer and mac merimgful but Kase hated seeing Emma 10 sick! On Christmas morning, Kate was bursting with ext cineat! She had received everything that she had asked fax! Apar opening all of her gifts, Kate ran to the barn with COUNTRY cleaned the manure into the guts. I scraped and sweeped down the ally ways. Dad and 1 also filled up the wiener and fat pig feeders. Done finally. Its tune to go to mum or dads church. When we get home we usally go tour relatives or friends for supper or they come to our house. Over the rest of the SANTA'S ELVES GO ON sparkluic eyes. Yet as stem as sic stepped into the bairn, ha excrurreut faded Emma was layuug very sull. Her cycs s wen dun and glassy. When Kase ruched dawn to pet the old cow, shivers went through hes body. Emma was dead. Her favorite cow had died on Cftruttates! Kate slouched down beside Emma, tears filling her eyes. Santa did not know what too do so he called Mrs. Claus. What is it dear? Look at this letter Santa said! Mrs. Claus looked at the note carefully. OH NO. Mrs. Clause said we must do something they could be any were. I know Santa said. Lets get a move on Said Mrs. Claus. What are we doing? asked Santa Mrs. Claus said we are taking the reindeer out and we are going to Chrisun as holidays our day is something like that. Can't stay out to late because the pigs have got to be fed. Now they were in the air "Duck", Santa yelled, there was an airplain. They travelled all over the world. Then they saw them they were in a little town named Dublin. Then the reindeer dashed down and got all of the olives. The eleves were yelling, "let us down, we will only come back if you give us a raise". Santa said OH. So they all went back to the North Pole. CHRISTMAS SEASON IS A BUSY SEASON It was only a month away from Christmas and all of Santa's elves were busy getting ready for Christmas. There was still a lot of work to do and not enought elves to do it. So the next day Santa sent one of his elves out to find some more help. The elf came back with twenty other elves. Santa gave them something to eat and put them to work at making toys. Things were going better but not great. Santa sent the elf out to get twenty more elves. The elf out to get twenty more elves. The elf came back at supper and had found twenty more elves. Things wer going good now. More and more letters poured in and more and more toys were THE CHRI made. Now it was two weeks before Christmas and letters were still coming in. The elves were still making toys. They were working all day and all night. Their work load was going down and time was going fasi Now Christmas was only one week away and most of the toys were made. Now they had to start wrapping them. The realized that they had a lot of work left to do. The wrapping went slow at first but then it started going faster. They had millions of presents to wrap and only five days left before Christmas. They rushed to finish going all day and night. Before they knew it, it was two days until Christmas. They still had over five STMAS STORY One night Mary was going to have baby. Mary and Joseph went to houses. They all said, "No you can not come in." They went to another house. They said you have to sleep in the barn. So they went there and she had her baby. He was beautiful. An angel came and said, "You must name your baby Jesus" All of the animals came over to Jesus. The three Kings came over to Bethlehem and the people were saying, 'There is a new king at the stable." the kings brought gifts for him. He was very cared for and He will live forever and ever. Even Santa and Mrs. Claus sat down and helped to wrap presents. They were all busy and finished right on time. They loaded everything in Santa's slead and got the reindeer. Santa Said good-bye to everyone and then left. He went around the whole world and gave presents to all the children. He was very tired when he got home. He slept like a log that night. The next morning all the kids opened and loved their presents. At Santa's work shop they were opening the presents that they received.
