CHRISTMAS SEASON IS A BUSY SEASON
It was only a month away from
Christmas and all of Santa's elves
were busy getting ready for
Christmas. There was still a lot of
work to do and not enought elves to
do it. So the next day Santa sent
one of his elves out to find some
more help. The elf came back with
twenty other elves. Santa gave them
something to eat and put them to
work at making toys. Things were
going better but not great. Santa
sent the elf out to get twenty more
elves. The elf out to get twenty

supper and had found twenty more
elves. Things wer going good now.
More and more letters poured in
and more and more toys were

before Christmas and letters were
still coming in. The elves were still
making toys. They were working all
day and all night. Their work load
was going down and time was
going fasi Now Christmas was
only one week away and most of
the toys were made. Now they had
to start wrapping them. The realized
that they had a lot of work left to
do. The wrapping went slow at first
but then it started going faster.
They had millions of presents to
wrap and only five days left before
Christmas. They rushed to finish
going all day and night. Before they
knew it, it was two days until
Christmas. They still had over five

thousand presents to wrap. Even
Santa and Mrs. Claus sat down and
helped to wrap presents. They were
all busy and finished right on time.
They loaded everything in Santa's
slead and got the reindeer. Santa
Said good-bye to everyone and then
left. He went around the whole
world and gave presents to all the
children. He was very tired when
he got home. He slept like a log
that night. The next morning all the
kids opened and loved their
presents. At Santa's work shop they
were opening the presents that they
received. After Christmas they all
relaxed and calmed down until they
had to start making presents for the
next Christmas. - Linda Visser,
