THE CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE
One Christmas Santa was getting
ready to go out present giving. He
looked out the window. He didn't
like what he saw. There was a great
big snow storm. "Oh, no!," he
yelled. Then sadly he said, "We
won't be going out tonight." Then
Santa looked at his list again and he
couldn't even see it. Then Santa
saw a big red light.
"Who brought that red lantern?"
asked Santa. "It's just my nose,"
Rudolph answered. "Your nose?,"
Santa asked in a puzzled voice.
Then he said, "Rudolph, you will
guide my sleigh tonight. Do you
want to?" "Sure," yelled Rudolph in
excitement. "Well, come on. We
must hurry," Santa said.
The other reindeer hitched on his
harness and off they went. But
when they had only gotten to New
York, Rudolph's nose went out.
They crashed right through a house
said boy jumped on. The boy got
into a wrapped box.
When Santa got back he looked
SNOWY NIGHT
One snowy night in Santa's
house. Santa was talking to Mrs.
Claus about the weather. Well Santa
said Mrs. Claus I don't think you
will be able to deliver the presents
to the kids. Well if it stops
snowying out Santa went out side
to check the reindeer. Rudolph was
all ready to go when Santa got to
the Barn. Well boy's we can't go
out a deliver the toys. After awhile
it stop snowing and Santa got the
Sleigh ready and all the reindeer
ready. Santa went it the house and
told Mrs. Claus they were going to
deliver the presents now. - By

I FINALLY SAW SANTA
On Christmas Eve, I tossed and
turned all snugled in my bed. I'm
waiting for Santa Clause. My mom
came in and asked "Whats the
matter?" I could not say a word.
She left my room.
All at once I heard a BOOM! I
knew it must be Santa. I quietly
snuck out of my bedroom and
walked into the living room. There
he was in bright red and white with
a sack full of toys. How much
talent he must have to make such
wonderful toys.
Now I'm jolly just like him, as
happy as can be. Now 1 going to
bed, see you early in the morning.
Good night. - by Michelle Hender-

into his sack and saw the boy. "Oh
no," he said. He opened the box
and out jumped the kid.
"Oh no," Santa said. "Now I must
take you back." "Okay," said the
boys, "But can 1 make a toy first?"
"Of course," said Santa. The boy
stayed for three weeks making the
toy. Finally he finished it. He made
the Ninga Turtles Sewer Playset.
"Well, I guess it is time for you
to go home now. Rudolph is taking
us," said Santa. When they got to
the boy's window, they said good-
bye and Santa started going back to
the North Pole.
The boy went into his house to
see his mom and dad. When they
saw him they said, Joey, you're
back!". Joey said, "Mom and Dad,
guess what? I was at the North Pole
and I made a toy. And I met San-
ta..." They stopped him there. "Oh
quit telling fairy tales and come in
and see your new baby brother."
The End. - Luke Wright, Grade 3,
St. James School.
SORE SANTA CLAUSE
One snowy night the kids were
sleeping when a big noise woke
them up. It sounded like screaming.
Tom went downstairs and saw a big
bag laying on the floor. He heard
footsteps so he hid around the
corner, He peaked around the
corner and saw Santa Clause. He
jumped out and acted like he was
tired and said "What is all the
comotion"?
Santa ran dropped off the rest of
the presents and hurried up the
chimney. When Santa Clause had
his back facing toward Tom, Tom
saw a big hole in Santa's clothes. It
was all black around the big hole.
Torn was thinking and thought
Santa Clause burned his butt on the
hot ashes. He went and looked at
the presents and I said Dear Tom
from Santa Clause. Boy, was Tom
happy, He was thinking what might
he in his present. Tom went back to
bed. When he looked at the clock
he noticed he was only down for
ten minutes. What a night he had.

Winter has once again arrived an

Bet this sioai isn't hurling anyone.
CThe trees and docastwnal are up

Santa is finishing up his tilt. But
who can forget about Christmas

JESUS
A knig time agothere lived a
woman namved Mry. There was a
man named Joseph. One day Mary
and Joseph had to go to Belthcham
to pay their taxes. Mary was about
to have a baby when they arrived at
Beltheham. All the inns were full,
so they had to sleep in a stabs. That
night Mary had a baby boy. Mary
called him Jesus. They laid him in
a manger. There was a star that
shone over the stable. Shepherds
came from keeping their sheep.
Three wisemen came, and gave

SANTA GETS STUCK
One day Santa was going too a
house and jumped in the chimney
and got half way down the chimney
and got stuck because his bag got
stuck and he ate too much. Maybe
I can wiggle than I can get down.
But how am I going to get up.
Maybe I can get out the door but I
better get the presents down now.
There now I can go home. - By

THE CHRISTMAS SURPRISE
"I would like Santa Clause to
bring me a nice pair of shiny
skates" said Carol as she was
looking in the Christmas Wish
Book. She was 8 years old and had
leukemia and was in the childrens
hospital. "I would like Santa to
bring me a new red and white sled"
said Jonathon just as he was
looking out the window watching
the snow fall. "Well Santa can't get
every child in the world exactly
what they want. But I'm sure he
will try to" said Miss Saunders
which is one of the nurses. On
Christmas Eve the staff arranged
that some children could go home
with their family for Christmas
Carol thought that was great. Her
dad came and got her. When she
stepped into the house she saw her
grammy and grammpy aunt and
uncle, mommy and Christopher and
patches and Heidi. This is a
wonderful Christmas and sat down
to a turkey dinner. By - Joanne

THE FUNNIEST CHRISTMAS
The funniest Christmas I ever had
started four weeks before
Christmas. For a long time there
was no snow and I was worried that
Santa wouldn't be able to land his
sleigh and it had been so mushy
that not even a monster truck could
get through! Soon there was a snow
storm and drifts were all over the
place. I had to get sick the day we
were going to up our Christmas
tree. Mom gave me a tylenol and I
felt better and help put ornaments
on the Christmas tree. Now it's
almost Christmas and I can't wait.

JOLLY OLD SANTA!
One snowy day 1 asked "mom
what I could do"? It was the day
before Christmas. Mom said "Why
don't you go and play in the
snow"! So 1 went outside and
started to make a snowman. It
started to get dark then mom had to
call me in. Mom said I should go to
bed because Santa is comming and
when I wake up there will be
presents under the tree!
So I went to bed mom went to
bed too. I fell fast asleep. In the
morning I hurryed downstairs and
as I was opening the presents I

RUDOLF'S NOSE RECHARGED
It was in the middle of winter.
It was Christmas eve. Rudolf
walked in. "It's storming and I lost
my recharger for my nose!", Rudolf
cried. "Quick! Everyone look for
Rudolf's nose recharger. We'll have
to cancel Christmas if we don't find
it!," Santa yelled. One of the elves
said he could make a recharger for
Rudolf's nose in a couple of
minutes. Then another elf said,
"Wait, I've found it." "Yeah!"
Everyone yelled. "Oh, Santa you
have to decide who is going on the
trip with you." "Well, 1 think the
elf who found Rudolfs recharger
for his nose and the elf who could
have made one for him that spoke
up. That's who is coming with me."
And that's how Rudolf found his
nose recharger and saved

GARFIELD EATS HIS W
T'was the night before Christmas
and all through the house, not a
creature was stirring not even
a..CRASH!! "Garfield". When John
walked in Garfield was on the floor
with some candy canes in his
mouth.
Garfield didn't give up. He
jumped up on the tree and started
eating some gingerbread cookies
and the chains of popcorn. Just as
John came down the stairs to catch
Garfield he slipped on a .."AAHH"
skateboard.
Just as Garfield got into the
refrigerator, Odie passed by and
saw some food. He jumped on
Garfield and slobbered all over
Garfield.
John and Odie left to do some
late Christmas shopping and Gar-
field is at home all alone. Garfield
went for the fridge. On the way he
saw a figure in the living room.
When he got there all the gifts were
gone!
Garfield goes to the toy store and
looks at lots and lots of toys. He
dind't find anything but a little
rubber chicken.
When Garfield was away Santa
came down the chimney and
replaces all the presents. Santa
SANTA CLAUS
One night there were three mice
named Jack, Mike, and Jake. They
were very nice mice. One night it
was Christmas and they could not

"1 guess I can't give you people
presents." Then he said "Well I
guess I will." So he did. - by Randy

Carols are being sung

Is it a mouse?

THE MYSTERY ELF
Once upon a time Santa and the
elves were working. They didn't
know it, but there was an elf who
wanted to kidnap Santa. He wanted
to kidnap Santa because he did not
like Christmas. One day Santa went
for a walk. The elf was driving a
white truck. He took Santa back to
his hideout. He said, "Santa, I want
you to stop Christmas or I will kill
you". Santa had a secret phone in
his boot. He called the elves and
told them to call the police and tell
them where the hideout was. The
police came and rescued Santa and
took the bad elf to jail. The bad elf
had to stay in jail for twenty years!
The end.

James School.
AY TO CHRISTMAS
signed the names of John, Odie and
Garfield. Then with a twitch of his
nose he went up the chimney.
Garfield tried to find some food.
Every place kicked him out because
he was a cat. Garfield wandered
down the street for hours with an
empty stomach.
Garfield suddenly saw his mom
and ran over to her. His mother
asked him "What are you doing out
here?" Garfield tells her and she
invited him to sleep at her house.
The next morning he hailed a
cab. The cab stops, Garfield gets in
and there is a lady in the cab too.
She just bought some groceries.
On the way to nis home Garfield
sits with all the groceries and
started eating. When they got to his
place the lady found out and got
him in trouble. Then John walked
over to greet them and slipped on
the skateboard,(again) and did three
three sixty's, then landed on his
easy chair.
s they open their gifts, paper is
flying and toys arc being played
with. Garfield is sitting in the

Garfield sits back and says "I love
Christmas". - David Diegel, Grade
