A CHRISTMAS INVITATION
Np time of the year u quite Wu Christmas/
Most of us have memories of happy fa'niGJ
reunions, gaily dsconatcd Chrutmas trees,
and strings of Christmas cards and presents.
Sometimes, in the off moments, we may
actually renumber this is the inebriation of
Chris t s birthday; not our birthday,
not our children's, nor Santa s birthday.
?$4ii(.e it is true many of our Christmas
customs come from non-Christian sources, it
is in the Christian church that the tnu spirit
and meaning of Christmas can 6e found.
We urge you to return to your church for
this greatest of Christian ce(abrations —
to sing the Christmas cards, to hear the
stories of shepherds, angt(s, and wise men,
and to remind you the spirit of Christmas
is giving, God giving 9 nue(f to humanity.
