Several talented then and women enjoyed showing the latest fashions. They look forward to this twice yearly event. Lucky thaw winners were lack Lowe, a cardigan. Bona Clark, jewelery, Slippers to Lloyd McDougall. Jessie Armstrong won stockings. Bethel Reform women continue to supply prizes and assistance at this month's Monday Bingos. Rev. Vipperman led Tuesday's church service and accompanied the singing with his guitar. Residents are all sorry to say goodbye to Rev. Vipperman who is leaving his local parish for a new call in Toronto. The Fellowship Singers, 15 strong, had Queensway rcaoun with their beautiful Gospel mimic Wednesday evening. Residents were thrilled to have 111 -day-old wrath Elizabeth join them for the program while Gail and Larry Mason sang "Because He Lives". TThankyou to the Fellowship Singers for their monthly programs. Coming events are: November 29, 7 p.m. Birthday Party entertainment by Jack Simmons and His Swinging Seniors; December 2, Nursing Home Family Christmas Dinner; and December 9, Rest Home Family Christmas Dinner. If you haven't booked you ticket to the family Christmas Dinner yet, please do so soon as space is limited. Seaforth Manor -Retirement Home Retirement home plans for Christmas Open House The little ghosts and goblins that extended to Murray and Carl Payne ushered out October were welcome and birthday cake was enjoyed at visitors at Seaforth Manor the monthly YAH meeting. They hope to see lots of family and friends at their Christmas Tea and Open House on December 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. Other plans are going ahead for a Christmas Supper Party with all the residents and staff. Members of the Youth Group spent a Saturday recently washing and labelling the pails for local garbage collector Jerry Nobel, who offers private recycling. His white pails will perform a similar task to the blue boxes, and will be available to Tuckersmith residents in the new year. At that time the current program, which includes a recycling bin at Mr. Nobel's house and behind the EMA, will be discontinued. Robinet thoto. Auxiliary to hang plaque BY FRANCES R. TEATERO The November meeting of the Seaforth Hospital Auxiliary was held recently. Roll Call was answered with a item of groceries for the Basket to be taken to the Doll Show in December. Twenty- one members were in attendance. A ceramic Christmas Wreath was donated by Linda O'Rourke and will also be at the Doll Show. Tick- ets are now available on both of these items. Linda Huard reported good sales for the month vf"November in the Gift shop. A donation was made to the Memorial Fund in Angus MacLean's name. It was reported by President Marg Smale that the Christmas Party tickets are now on sale for the Staff at the Legion. Tickets are $8 per person. Please Hospital -Auxiliary- see Dorothy Medd tor your ticket. Cut-off date is November 26. Linda Huard and M.M. Mennen attended the Recreation Seminar on Volunteering. Linda Huard gave some highlights from the seminar ' where Brenda Pilley Volunteer Coordinator for the Children's Psychiatric Research Institute was the guest speaker. She addressed the advantages and disadvantages a small community faces in recruiting and retaining volunteers.
