Susan Rowcliffe, however picked up a pass from Henderson and Put it a the top corner of Strat- ford s nit to put Seaforth in i1 lead once again. Sca%M didn't loot back because Haidasan added two more while Fortune, Teal, Rowclitfc and Sham Kling continued to scare for Seaforth. The first half ended right to two fa Seafonh. Dublin girl wins SHABHA award Awards night for South Huron All Breed Horse Association (SHA - BHA) saw a Dublin area girl win an award at the Crediton Community Centre, November 24. The Dublin girl, Donna Waddell, a senior, was awarded by SHABHA 1990 president Richard Currah for the Keyhole event. The top senior prize was awarded to Freda Vanderwall, Ailsa Craig. She was the highest point earner in senior English equitation, senior English pleasure, and open English pleasure. The top junior prize was awarded to Annette Lockhart, Clinton. She was the highest point earner in open command and open fun events. Miss Lockhart also won the Overall Most Improved Horse and Rider prize. At the awards night a 1991 partial executive for SHABHA was elected. President for 1991 is Bob Smith. Kelly Ryan is newsletter editor. Directors are Ralph Vanderwall, Lisa Currah, June Mennen, Richard Currah, Jim Loucks, and Jim Storey. Six couples in hunt for championship The week of November 12 to 16 is now history at Starlight Lanes and the following are the weekly highs. The Egmondville League started the week with Ken Jewitt 793, Aire Van Diepen 721 and Ron Pepper had a 317 single. In the St. James League it was Murray Bennewies 338 - 777 and George Love 748. John Forrest was high for the Town and Country League with a 788 triple. Doug Leonhardt 338, 300-892 and Dave Moody 802 were top bowlers in the Thursday Nighters. The Mixed Doubles were led by Jerry Staples 749, and Helen Gar- rick 314 - 734. Anne Malcomb bowled a 277 in the Senior League and Iva Reid had a 614 for the Legion. The past week was also the first round of the League Executive 5 pin Championships. The scores were registered from league scores with Doug Leonhardt topping the Presidents with +232. Jerry Staples led the Secretaries with +149 and Ruth Duffy was +30 to win the Treasurers class. The next round of the Executive Tournament will be Saturday, January 26. The Presidents, bowl at Victoria Bowlerama in Kitchener, the Secretary Division is at Waterloo Bowling Lanes and the Treasurers will bowl at Dixon Bowl in Cambridge. November 19 was the fourth night of the Special Old High Low Bowling Championship in the St. James League and six couples are still in the hunt for the win.
