Area farmers win
prizes at The Royal
The Royal Agricultural Winter Fair was again well attended by
participants from Huron County. Many of our fellow county people won
prizes, many of them major, at the annual event.
The almost two week long fair was a hub of activity with entrants
arriving and leaving almost overnight. It was a real achievement for the
4-H club members who spent the past year working to gain recognition
at the Royal. This year's Queen's Guineas ($250) awarded to the 4-H
exhibitor of the Grand Champion Steer went to a Huron County
youngster.
Some of the prizes carne as no surprise when they were awarded to
people who have won that award time and time again.
The Huron Expositor would like to hear from anyone within our
readership area who won prizes at the fair, adult or youngster. Please
call Susan at the Huron Expositor before 4:30 p.m. Monday, November
26 and tell us what you won at the Royal.
